PotrosApp is a mobile application developed by the Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora (ITSON), designed primarily to provide users with a comprehensive tool for accessing their academic information, as well as details about promotional and cultural events. This platform is accessible without limitations for ITSON students and can be particularly beneficial across the various professional degrees offered by the institution.

Access to the application requires the use of the ITSON student ID, which comprises 11 digits, along with a password linked to systems such as the library, SAETI 2, ITSON Virtual, graduation services, and document retrieval.

Structurally, PotrosApp allows users to view important academic information, including their faculty insurance number, academic progress, overall GPA, as well as hours accrued for intercultural programs and community service. The latter two features are specifically applicable to undergraduate students.

Additionally, users can check their enrolled subjects and class schedules, and during semester breaks, they have the option to view their upcoming enrollment appointment. The app also provides access to information regarding outstanding fees related to tuition, library usage, laboratories, and documents, enabling students to stay informed and avoid potential issues with their enrollment.

PotrosApp further offers users access to current promotions in dining services, raffles, bookstores, and cultural events managed by the relevant departments. Users can also view scheduled public events at various institution venues such as Teatro Dr. Oscar Russo Vogel, Club ITSON, Arena ITSON, and CEEN.

It is noteworthy that users will receive notifications regarding important announcements from the institution. These notifications may include alerts about outstanding balances, upcoming enrollment appointments, and new cultural or sports events that are programmed. These notifications are available when users actively use the mobile application.
